Bread Salad


Ingredients:

·         2-3 cups Bread sliced in cubes
·         2-3 cloves of garlic
·         3 tbsp olive oil
·         1 red onion
·         2 tbsp vinegar
·         2 tbsp pitted olives
·         2 tomatoes
·         2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
·         Salt to taste
·         Black pepper to taste
Preparation:
Slice the bread in half to one inch cubes. Crush the garlic cloves or simply chop them finely. Now take a bowl and put in it the bread cubes. Add in it the garlic, salt, black pepper and olive oil. Mix all the ingredients well. Now take the bread cubes out on the baking tray and toast them at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes until the bread cubes turn to golden brown. Meanwhile finely slice red onion and marinate it in vinegar for 15 minutes. Roughly chop the tomatoes. Now in the serving bowl add toasted bread, marinated onion, tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, and chopped olives. Mix well and season to taste. Delicious Bread Salad is ready; you can also serve it as a side dish. Enjoy!
